Handles can be fitted to one or both sides and the key can be used on either side to secure both the bolt and the handle(s) and release hook. A projecting stump on the forend engages into the locking plate to prevent the door being lifted from the frame in the closed position.
The distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole (backset) measures 43mm. Lock features saw, force and pick resistance.
