Product Features
This casement stay is fixed to the bottom rail of the window and the pins are fixed to the window frame. When the window is closed the holes in the casement stay are located horizontally over the pins to secure the window in place. The casement stay allows the window to be opened to various degrees by positioning the stay vertically over one of the pins using the different holes along the length of the stay. Cast from malleable iron, a protective undercoat (phosphate) treatment is applied prior to the final coating of black paint. A traditional dip paint process is used thereafter, to aid the dull black appearance. Suitable for internal and external use.
