This set comprises of a latch which is fitted to the interior of the gate. When closed, the latch fits into a keep fitted to the gate frame. This set can be used in conjunction with a ring handle (not included) which would be fitted to the exterior of the gate and connected to the latch by means of a spindle passing through the gate. Cast from malleable iron, a protective undercoat (phosphate) treatment is applied prior to the final coating of black paint. A traditional dip paint process is used thereafter, to aid the dull black appearance. Suitable for internal and external use.
