The latch measures 226mm and the handle measures 203mm. This set comprises of a grip handle and thumb lever for the outside of the door and a horizontal latch and keep for the inside of the door. The thumb lever extends through the thickness of the door and is fitted so that when pressed from the outside, it lifts the latch on the inside, freeing the door to open. Cast from malleable iron, a protective undercoat (phosphate) treatment is applied prior to the final coating of black paint. A traditional dip paint process is used thereafter, to aid the dull black appearance. Suitable for internal and external use.
